305 Guest House Review by Adele Benvie

Posted on Tue March 3, 2020.

I had the privilege of enjoying the most wonderful morning at 305 Guest House. From the moment I arrived, I heard the sound of flowing water and already felt a sense of peace. I was welcomed by the most friendly and helpful team who showed me through to the front of the guest house.

The passageway to the front of the guest house looks directly onto a statue of two dolphins which was a taste of things to come. As I walked out into the front of the guest house, I was struck by the breath-taking beauty of the unsurpassed panoramic views of the magnificent Indian Ocean. The guest house is elevated way above sea level, so you see much further than you ever would from the beach. It was absolutely magnificent!

To complete the experience that the view provides, the deck that overlooks the ocean has what we fondly referred to as the banana loungers. These lounger swings allow you to relax, perhaps even read a book, whilst all the time overlooking this magnificent view. I then enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast catered by the very friendly staff at the beautiful 305 Coffee Shop whilst I drank my delicious cappuccino enjoying the peaceful ambiance of the veranda. To top it off, indigenous birds twittered away in the background, making me feel like I had found a little paradise haven to relax, rest & restore. I then moved on to Beauty @ 305 where I was treated to the most indulgent Swedish Full Body Massage.

The whole experience at 305 Guest House left me feeling that I truly found a gem on the beautiful Natal South Coast that would allow me to have a complete break, whilst also being in a fantastic location to access many activities nearby like the beach, ice skating, the movies and local nature reserves.

I can only say that my experience at 305 Guest House was one of complete relaxation and restoration. If that is what you are looking for, 305 Guest House is definitely the place to visit.
